The Works Progress Administration source documents for Attala County show L.S. Terry as Captain of Company A, 15th Mississippi Infantry Regiment. Among the Privates listed in that company are Billie Terry and Ross Terry.
Among a list of "Soldiers ordered off by Lieut. E.C. Stephens, Enrolling Officer in Attala County" is Lewis L. Terry, Co. G, 30th Mississippi Infantry.
