Thanks for everyone for there help.I have found his gravesite and also have gotten his pension papers.I am also lucky enough to have a picture of him during a war veteran reuion.I am now trying to map the route his company took during the war.I know he was among those who surrendered in Selma.Yall have givin me some great tips.I also have a uncle who was in the GA inf and he was killed at Vicksburg.More on him in another posting.
