Paroles for soldiers included in the surrender agreement at Citronelle AL are routinely found in their CSRs. Since John Harrison does not have a parole, I would guess that he was with his command when it disbanded at Forsyth GA. Evidently no paroles issued at Forsyth are on file.
Perrin's 11th Mississippi Cavalry served with Brig. Gen. Samuel W. Ferguson's command. The regiment formed part of the escort for Jefferson Davis and other members of his group, travelling south from Charlotte NC in April 1865.
