Mr. Pitts: You have been very gracious in helping me with past questions regarding my confederate ancestors. I have been trying to verify that a Willie J. Lee who fought in Mississippi confed. units might be a grandfather of mine. I have contacted the SCV's genealogist for Mississippi to help on this, but never got a response, and have posted on this board for anyone who could help me verify that either of these showing might be a grandfather of mine. His son, James is also a grandfather of mine. My Willie supposedly died between 1868 & 1870. He showed to have been born in Mississippi. Thanks for any tips you can give me. Lynn
