A.H. Cochran, 26 year old married Farmer, resident of Bell Dazzle, Private, Company F (Sam Benton Rifles), 17th Regiment Mississippi Volunteers, enlisted March 11, 1862 at Bethlehem, Miss. by Captain Upshaw for 3 years, wounded in action September 20, 1863, died at Medical College Hospital, Atlanta, Georgia October 22, 1863, from wound received at Chicamauga, value of money left, $43.70
