Well, hello cousin! My great grandfather was your Thomas Gardner Smith's brother, David Calvin Smith. His youngest son, Rudgil Cleo Smith was my grandfather. David Calvin Smith lived and died in Tipton County, TN (just above Memphis) as well as my grandfather and family. My mom is/was Rudgil's daughter. David Calvin died in the 1930's and my grandfather, Rudgil Smith died in 1980. I am in Memphis. Maybe we can work on this together? I have a picture of David Calvin that I can share.
