Gentlemen,

I am related to the wife of S.D. Lee thru Thomas Garton Blewett. Her name was Regina Lilly Harrison. I have a pic of her c1863. She and "Stefan" Dill Lee had only one son, Blewett Lee, who became a lawyer for a Yankee railroad in Chicago, married a northern girl, and was kinda disowned by those of the family in the South. He seemed to want to distance himself from his famous dad, who later became the first prez of Mississippi A&M, later MSU, my alma mater.

Blewett Lee, however, donated the company flag of Randall Blewett (2d MS Infantry Btn)to the MS State Archives and which flag has been on permanent display since the mid-1920s. It was on loan at Beauvoir during Katrina, but survived and is now back in Jackson, I understand. Randall was mortally wounded at Gaines' Mill and died at the home of a doctor in Richmond several days later.
