I regret to say that I have no info on the family. With so many men having served in the regiment, it has been impossible to do research on their families. I can tell you that this soldier didn't die in 1861, as he joined the 43rd MS in May 1862, but was rejected for service at that time. So, he was still alive in May 1862.
