Re: Company "F" 34th regiment Ms Infantry

William C. Gullick, Private, Capt. Tho. A. Falconer's Company (Goodman Guards), Benton's Regiment, Mississippi Vols.*, enlisted March 17, 1862 at Holly Springs, Miss. by James Fort for 3 years or war, last recorded present on the July & August, 1863 muster roll, no further records

Note: The next surviving company muster roll is for the period Jan. & Feb., 1864. As there is no further record of him, he must have been dropped from the rolls on one of the two intervening bi-monthly muster rolls. This could have been because of discharge, death, capture, desertion, etc.

* This company originated as Company F, 37th Mississippi Inf., and subsequently became Company F, 34th Regiment Mississippi Infantry
