Re: Henry C Ball 15th al calvary

I do not find an H. C. Ball in any Alabama unit, however, from the information provided by Monterey, I believe these fit your profile.

H. C. Ball, Private, Company C, 15 Confederate Cavalry. resident of Green County, Mississippi, surrendered at Meridian, ____, May 4, 1865 and paroled at Mobile, Alabama May 22, 1865, no other records

....

Henry Ball, Company A, 15th Confederate Cavalry (1st Regiment Alabama and Florida Cavalry), receipted for an issue of clothing September 7, 1864,no other records

I suspect these are the same individual.
