Re: Henry C Ball 15th al calvary

His family has him listed in the 9th MS cavalry with kin Henry Augustas Ball Under Col. Abner Steede. His stone says 24th MS infantry. Do yall have any idea what age he was when enlisted? was the 9th MS in the 15th? This unit wasnt in the cia was it!! haaaa! His family seems pretty sure he was in the 9th MS cavalry from Greene County, he is burried in Sweetwater cemetery in Greene County, i noticed his stone did not match my record of the 9th which is what led to this post.
