" This man was born and raised in Greene County MS, any idea where the 2 independent units came from? Im somewhat confused on the designation " Confederate" Cavalry instead of Mississippi Cavalry did we have national and State Cavalrys? did some of the 9th MS roll into the confederate cavalrys?
