Thank you. There was another soldier named Andrew Byrne in the 44th Reg. Ms. Infantry, enlisted late in 1861. Could he have been the A.M. Byrne who enlisted in the 18th Ms. Cal. late in the fall of 1862. Thanks for your help. Annelle
