I am sorry but I have nothing in my research that indicates that a Needham Temples was in the 37th Miss., Co. K. I have a Muster roll that indicates that a William Temples was in this company. I also have a copy of a letter from Capt. Absalom Danzler on September 24, 1862 that indicates that William Temples was taken prisoner along with 5 of his company at Iuka shortly before Absalom Danzler and his nephew were killed at Corinth.

If you have not already contacted them, the MS Dept. of Archives and History has this roll. It is possible that Needham joined the company after Corinth.

Sorry I can't be of more help.
