Two James Hazeletts in 28th Miss Regt. Miss. Vols.

I am having trouble separating the two James Hazeletts in fold3's 28th Miss. Regt. Miss. Vols. (Cav.) at
http://www.fold3.com/image/67117370/

They are father and son, both of Vicksburg, Miss.

James the younger was a Sgt. in the 10th Miss Inf for about a year (fold3.com/image/20/73861993/). I have a photo of his grave marker.

Did he then join the 28th, where his father Capt. James Hazelett (1817-1879) was A.C.S.?

I have put everything I know on their web page at
http://freepages.history.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~taleese/soldiers_rest_vicksburg/index_of_veterans/hazelett_james_10th/hazellett_james_sgt.htm

I have about exhausted all my research materials. I lack James the Younger's obituary, but it may not be any more helpful than his father's was.

Could someone please assist in the mystery of the two 28th James Hazeletts? Were there two in the 28th and was one the Sgt. James Hazelett from the 10th Miss Inf?

Thanks so much in advance. >Anna
