Re: Two James Hazeletts in 28th Miss Regt. Miss. V

George,
I am confused by this posting. I have been compiling the history of the men who surrendered in the consolidated 9th Mississippi Regiment in North Carolina, working from the original surrender rolls on microfilm copied at the National Archives and the Fold3 data base as the master sources. I do not find a man named Hazelett among the 427 men who surrendered in the consolidated 9th Mississippi Regiment. Can you elaborate on the source of information that James Haselett Sr. & Jr. surrendered in the 9th Mississippi Regiment in North Carolina?
