Andy, thanks for the photo and additional information. I'm curious as to how you determined he was in the 7th Miss. when the headstone shows 9th Mississippi. We do have J. H. Williams Co. I 7th Miss. as dieing in October 1862 which does coincide with the timeline for the "High Pressure Brigade" in Kentucky, particularly in the Danville area. Does the number 63 indicate a list of names and does the other number indicate the grave number. I know there was a list of interments at Bellvue located by George or Jim Martin some time ago. Is this the same listing? It makes sense that he was in fact in the 7th Miss., but the 9th Miss. was also in the Danville area as part of Chalmer's Mississippi brigade..
