Mr. Kennedy,

Just checking back after six years to see if you ever located a copy of Colonel John Thomas Kennedy's account of the 16th Battaltion, NC Cavalry. If so, I would be glad to read a copy of it, as my great great grandfather served with the 16th until he was captured at Fort Archer. His older brother Joseph E. Vann served with the 4th NC Cavalry. My father knew his grandfather until he was 13 and passed some stories to me before his death.

I am originally from Murfreesboro, NC but live in Waxahachie, TX now.
