Just an opinion of one who is cursed with being able to see the validity (and often folly) of both sides of an issue.
The answer of a true gentleman. The problem is Mr. Erickson, there are those on both sides who won't accept that. Much like the ACW in the border states. I'm sure Martin's story of his g-g-grandfather tells what happens when you try to stay neutral. You become a target for both sides. I've learn myself that the quickest way to draw attention is to try to attend to your own business. The civil war aside, try to get a conversation on religion and race started and stay neutral.
