I have learned a lot about a lot from these threads. The 90th was at Chattanooga and before that at Vicksburg. Maybe you know or do not know that if you read the Illinois AG's report on them they started in Chicago (Camp Douglas) and went to Cairo and thence to the front where everthat may have been at the time.
This is a very educational site. Was in the Arty threds earlier. Really learned there.
North or South I would hope that first and foremost, we are Americans.
