Gunny, when I went to S,E&E school prior to my trip to the western Pacific, the only food rule was if we caught a field mouse it could be traded for one raw hamburger patty! I think the reason wasa that there was a chance the little rascal might give us bubonic plague. Well, two rules; if you made it through the cadre during the E&E phase, you got a cup of water before going into the prison compound. I was not betrayed by the chipmunk sitting on a rock staring me in the face while the "enemy" beat the bushes, so I got my water. They did feed us actual fish heads and rice in the compound. LOL Stan
