That is true. In the big picture, it looks like there were no grudges held and things went back to business as usual. There were of course, grudges and lack of business things to contend with but for the most part, it was just 'over'.
Tis a rarity that things did not continue in gorilla style after the ferocity in the battles. Maybe they were just plain worn out.
