Did he say this before or after Spring Hill?

Maj. Gen. John Brown recalled after that Hood was as "wrathy as a rattlesnake," full of venom and pent-up anger when the officers gathered for breakfast.

Looks like his large dinner and drinking the night before at the Thompsons' house, plus going to bed at 9:00 P.M. and sleeping most of the night didn't rest him enough. He woke up in a really bad mood.
