Mahlon, I would add the Overland Campaign that first pitted Grant against Lee in the spring & early summer of 1864. While the battles fought in the Wilderness, North Anna, Spotsylvania, & Cold Harbor may have been tactical draws, they set in motion the strategy that would end the war. In my humble opinion.
