There is at least one Genealogost who works with the government to locate any family of one whose remains they find. She spoke at one of our conferences. It's very interesting work and if they know the deceased she sometimes has to do a genealogical search if the remains are old and there is no 'next of kin' known. The DNA is used as best they can to match with a family member. If she worked on this, I can imagine there's nothing to be found. She is dogged in her search. She worked on the search that did ID the unknown soldier at Arlington a few years ago.
