Maybe posting the question will cause someone to do some "nuts and bolts" research in the records and the Kentucky census.

Being the President of the United States Father-in-Law, I was wondering if Robert Todd recieved special consideration. Certain the majority of his children were "in Rebellion" so to speak under the Confiscation Act even if Robert Todd himself wasn't. So I would think that Mr. Todd's loyality would be otherwise suspect in 1862 Kentucky, if he were anyone else other than Lincoln's Father-in-Law.
