George, I saw a stone marker like you pictured just off Ponce de Leon Avenue in Atlanta last week. I think it was dated 1924.

As to the other articles, I think the powers that be cause further incidents by taking the side of those against the CBF. It gives its supporters a sense of frustration and powerlessness that escalates the conflict. If they had denounced the destruction of private property, and the racial slurs, they could have defused the controversy. It is not the articles being unbalanced we have to address, its the unbalanced responses. Stan
