By the way, I like the advise you gave George about sending you an e-mail if what he finds in not real nice. I went through that with someone who inquired about an ancestor. I found him in the Illinois Archives but it seemed that he had deserted his unit. I just told them that he was not with the unit after such and such a date. I seemed to work and left everyone feeling good.
