I heard rumors last night, which were confirmed today that a good friend of mine passed away. He was Robert H. Barrow, Retired Comandant of the Marine Corps. I worked from Gen Barrow right after his retirement in the early 80s as a teen. He was a good friend and I will miss him. He served in WWII, Korea and Vietnam. (His namesake was a Lt Col. in the 11th LA Infantry)
The Lord works in misterious ways. He brought joy to my life one day with the birth of my daughter, and sorrow the next with the passing of a friend.
