Mark, you are holding me to specific time periods. May I take it you are referring to the next 4 years? Well, if that is what I dwelt on I may feel that way too. But, what I was actually refering to, and Mike knows this because he is our Christian brother, is the fact that we are not looking at the next four years but are looking toward eternity.

My friend, if you think the mindset that controls our society today gets mine or your dander up then just imagine what it does to God's feelings. He isn't going to tolerate this forever and we believe that someday we will be with Him in a perfect dwelling place. A place where evil men will not be found. R.E. Lee knew this too and I believe that is what gave him the strength to live the way he did.

Have you ever studied the difference between joy and happiness? It is usually glossed over as the same idea by most folks but it really isn't. Take Lee for example. It is fact he was not happy to lose the war yet he had "joy in the midst of sorrow".
