His 3rd great-grandfather was the Rev. Pierre Robert. This Rev. Pierre Robert is my 9th great-grandfather. For a look at my most famous Yankee kin check out this Wikipedia article. Please note that his birthplace, Robertville, South Carolina was given the works by Sherman on his March to the Sea. If I understand correctly there is not much left but I (and Virgil Roberts too) have a lot of kin buried there.
