I am so glad to see someone else has a 'Pierre' in their line. Mine is Pierre DuToit who came to Virginia with that Huguenot movement. I've discovered some family members in later writings in letters and in some of the land records have made Pierre into Peter, Pete, P'ere and the last names mangled too. Pierre's line turned out some fine soldiers for the Confederacy though.
