Sometimes there is a Ranger who isn't shy about mentioning the 'Gray' side without an aside on how they were 'wrong'. We had one at Barrancas not long ago. He may still be there, it's been a while since I was there. He was giving a 'tour' to some tourist and had a uniform in a bag to show them. When I walked by them coming in the drawbridge I said I hoped he had the 'correct' uniform. He smiled and in his Southern drawl said "It is Gray". I felt better at least that day that someone may get some original and not rewritten information.
