Now I know. My relative was arrested by Admiral Farragut and placed in Fort Jefferson Prison from Sept. 1864 to July 1865. He was placed into this hell on earth, without trial, against international law, for being known as a successful blockade runner. He was arrested while crossing Mobile Bay in a row boat.
