It's really pretty sad that this far from the event, we still have to defend our ancestors not for what they did but for what they did not do. People still believe Andersonville was horrible on purpose. Of course they have no knowledge of Camp Douglas, Camp Chase, Ft Delaware, Elmira, Ship Island, Ft Jefferson, Point Lookout and others. More evidence of 'selective learning'.
