Last evening I was wondering (being a devil's advocate - geez hate that term). . .what the U arguments that the war was mostly due to slavery.

From the material you guys are providing - the war was not started because of slavery - I agree. But, what would the argument detail?

Of course all web pages or student activity (for younger people) state the total opposite.
