There are no soldiers by any of these three names listed among the National Archives' "soldiers of record" of the Civil War.

However, there is one soldier listed simply under the name of H. McCarley having the following information:

McCarley, H. (also McCarly, H)
Confederate
Cavalry
3rd Regiment, South Carolina Cavalry
Co. G

It is possible that this is your man, but we can't be sure as we do not know this man's full first name. Also, it is estimated that about 10% of the soldiers who served in the Confederate army are not included among the "soldiers of record" in the N.A.
