Newspapers in northwest SC published during war

I am writing to inquire about the names of newspapers published in northwest South Carolina during the Civil War. I am also interested in learning if any or all such newspapers are available on microfilm for review via interlibrary loan?

I am doing some in-depth research of the 14th South Carolina Infantry regiment and am trying to locate information published about this unit in regional newspapers during the Civil War. In addition to news articles, it was common for soldiers of a regiment to write letters for publication in regional newspapers to update the home folks on the unit's activities.

I have found such letters written by members of the 14th SC Infantry published in the Yorkville Enquirer, for instance, which I have reviewed on microfilm at a regional university library located in a neighboring state (West Virginia) to mine (Kentucky).

Any information that anyone can provide would be most appreciated.
