Unionville was the mid-1860's name for the present day town of Union. Ditto for Yorkville, now York. I am aware of the landing, and have even seen it mentioned in perido newspapers, but don't have copies. It certainly would be in the Charleston Daily Courier or the Charleston Mercury, both of which are fairly generally available at larger libraries.
