as most of you know that south carolina invaded by air. as you have well put this and have said this was maybe union s.c.. or a place called unionville s.c. which if this is true in 1861. i really do not remeber reading this. but if it took place in union s.c. then this would have had to be in spartanburg county south carilina. chaleston s.c. is not in union s.c. and i think that union was sometime called unionville s.c. and if that be true then this took place in spartanburg south carolina.
