Did the 26th S.C. Inf have a Co C??

Hi. I found a web site listing confederate regiments for South Carolina. I did not find the 26th listed with a Company C. I went back to ancestry.com and reviewed whtat they showed for both Wilson Keeffe and his brother Eli, the 26th Co C is listed. Both men were born in Marion County and served the Confederacy. Wilson was born about 1825 and Eli about 1828. I show them on the 1850 census for Marion County. They are listed as farmers. I find Wilson, who is my gggrandfather, with his wife Rebecca and their children, Mary,Thomas, and John, still living in Marion County, Forest P.O. in 1860. We are not sure exactly when Wilson and Eli joined up. I do know my ggrandfather was born February 1862. So Wilson was around at least until July 1861. Can anyone shed any light about this Co. C in the 26th Inf?
