I had intended to do exactly what you suggested. I mulled it over in my mind and was a little hesitant to proceed. I fully understand what you are saying.

I'm a little slow about putting all of F. M. Fry's records together. I sometimes get teary eyed on the battlefield when engaging. Even though F.M. Fry did not fight in the Battle of Secessionville when we re-enacted last weekend I felt like I could fully relate to some of the feelings he and many more like him might have had during the Civil War.

I would like to thank all of you who have answered my questions and made comments. You have really helped me to understand more about what it was like during that terrible war.

I look foward to much more research.
