Pvt Nancy Lee Co. H , 12th S.C.V.I.Killed at Spotsylvania May 12th 1864. This was my grand mother.Suppose to be listed in a book called " Broken fortunes "by Randolph Kirkland, Page 379.
I am amazed and stunned. My Gr great grandfather John Jackson Nichols, Nancys future son in law, was wounded this same day in the same battle . He was in the 6th S.C.I.
Can anyone give me any affirmation on Nancy ? Nancys husband was William H. Wilford possibly killed at gettysburg. I am swimming in this find !Jeff Grimes jjeffg59@yahoo.com
