Don't know where you obtained your info, but my copy of "Broken Fortunes", page 379 begins with a W.W.Williams and ends with a John Q. Willis. The book is alphabetical, and the Lee data is on pages 206 & 207. No listing of a Nancy Lee; the only N. Lee is Noah of Ferguson's Regiment. No other N.Lee listed for SC in either the National Archives or www.civilwardata.com . Also, unless she was first identified after being killed, I cannot understand why she would carry the military designation of private.

What part of the state was she from? I descend from the General Stephen Dill Lee line, and it was from Charleston.
