Thank you very much for this info! From reading one of your other postings, I see where you and I have something in common. Pvt. Robert Hackett had a younger brother, Whitaker W. Hackett (one of my great-great grandfathers), who enlisted as a private in company D of Hampton's Legion Infantry on 13 Sep 1864. I'll call Magnolia Cemetery to see if they have a record of Robert Hackett being buried there. I called them once before to obtain more info on a member of Cobb's Legion Cavalry I discovered buried there on a visit to the cemetery several years ago to see the markers for the last crew of the Hunley.
