I decorated the grave of Jacob Burwell Chapline, with a Confederate flag, in a Cemetary in Sarasota, Florida. What unit was he in? A pension record stated he was from SC. His birth year was 1847. He had a UCV and UDC engraving on his grave. I would like to know the sory behind him.
