I have found a first hand account by a former Galvanized Yankee of the Brooks Battalion who described the death and burial of one of the members of the unit. According to him the deceased was buried in the woods near their encampment, implying he was not buried in an established cemetery. There may have been two other deaths while the Brooks Battalion was at Summerville, but that information os not certain. The account gives no names.
