Re: Adams Run burials

Hello to all,

I am very interested in the research for the burial places for the Confederate soldiers at Adams Run.
My associated relatives include two young brothers, Elighu David Nelson & younger brother, Andrew Jackson
Nelson from Laurens Country, S. C. These boys died 2 days apart on February 5th & 7th 1862 & their record
reads: "Their records are the same , both dying from measles and pneumonia". Elighu Nelson was age 26 and
Andrew was age 24 , both leaving very young families. Their older brother Wm. Alexander Nelson also died
in the war but a different place & he is buried in Charleston. Another brother John Marion Nelson served in
another area and was wounded & came home to devastation.

The boys at Adam's Run served in Lt. Colonel George Strother James' Battalion . Any help on finding their burial
places would be so appreciated. Thanks so much - wish I could help. Best regards, Ann C. Davis
