Alan: Yes, I am interested in his service file if you have more info than my original post which shows what I received from the UDC. The part about "staff, Baltimore" is from a family record. The period could be anywhere from 1864-1870. My information may be in error and I would like to correct it if so. Also, I believe he is buried next to his mother's grave because a picture I received shows a confederate cross. Is there any identification on a confederate cross? Or do I need to check the cemetery records?
