PVT J. F. DAVIS, Co. E, 21st SC Infantry, was admitted to the Wayside (1st Louisiana) Confederate Hospital, Charleston, SC, on three occasions:
18 Aug 1862: admitted for rheumatism, and sent to hospital at Columbia (date not given);
18 Dec 1862: admitted for rheumatism, and sent to hospital at Summerville, 19 Dec 1862;
10 Jul 1863: admitted for epilepsy, and sent to hospital at Columbia on the same day.
